Accessing Google Buzz Web App in Nokia N900

After the launch of Google Buzz I was very excited to use it on my Nokia N900. And found that it does not support N900 browser. I was wondering why it doesn’t support when the N900 browser is capable of more than an Android browser can do. So I tried changing the User Agent of my N900 browser to Android User Agent and it worked :)

Steps to follow

  • Install Hide User Agent from Application Manager
  • Go to Control Panel and open Hide User Agent
  • Set user agent to
    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1; en-us; dream) AppleWebKit/525.10+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Mobile Safari/523.12.2
  • Click on the Set
  • Then the browser will be restarted
  • Now go to the browser, open http://buzz.google.com

Start buzzing from your N900
